Week 3:
All art students are to draw a picture of their 'favorite place' in their sketchbooks.
Next week, weather permitting, all students will draw outside and practice landscape techniques. Students should have their sketchbooks, pencils, an erasure, and are allowed to bring a gel pen with them if they desire.
If it rains, and we work inside, 5th and 6th grades will do a lesson on Pointillism.
7th and 8th grades will do a lesson on One-Point Perspective with an interesting twist!
Don't forget your heart rocks everybody! We will have a wonderful project to do once we have accumulated these, and have mastered drawing them.
