Welcome to First Grade!
Our field trip to Buckroe Beach(on the Chesapeake Bay) and the Salt Pond Marina was a great experience! At the marina, we observed the tall grasses of the marsh and saw marsh periwinkes attached to these grasses. The children enjoyed walking along the beach and finding and observing many things. We found many shells and sea sponges that had washed up on the shore. After walking on the beach, the first graders had fun playing at the playground.
