Fourth Grade
2011-2012

____One daily binder--2 inch (3-ring), vinyl w/clear view sleeve on cover of binder
____One homework folder--2-pocket folder, hole-punched to fit into front of daily binder
____One storage binder--3 inch (3-ring), vinyl
____Two sets of 6 dividers (total 12)
(Please wait for instructions on labeling dividers. This will come at a later time.)
____Latin binder – 1 inch with 5 dividers
____One folder for music
____Two packs of 200 count wide-ruled (not college-ruled) notebook paper (leave wrapper on)
____One spiral, 3-hole-punched (to go in daily binder) single subject notebook for science
____One spiral-bound tablet of 4x6 ruled index cards for vocabulary words

____Twelve #2 pencils, already sharpened (no hand-held pencil sharpeners please)
____Two red grading pencils
____Two ‘erasable’ blue ink pens
____One highlighter
____Two Expo fine point (not chisel point) dry erase markers, any color except black
____Pencil eraser (Papermate Pink Pearl erases easily and does not smudge.)

____One zippered pencil bag or pouch
____One pencil box that snaps tightly closed (for art/craft supplies)
____12 inch ruler w/in, cm, mm (recommended: stiff, sturdy, unbreakable plastic)
____One basic calculator
____Fiskars brand scissors

____Crayons (24 count box)
____Colored pencils (at least 8 colors)
____One set of watercolor paints (8 count)
____Three glue sticks
____One bottle Elmer’s brand blue school glue gel (as opposed to white school glue)
____One set water-based markers (10 count or less, classic colors)

____Two boxes of facial tissues
____One bottle of hand sanitizer (pump style)
____One container of disinfecting wipes (such as Lysol wipes, etc.) for desktops and surfaces
____Two package of ‘baby wipes’ for art
____300, 3x5 index cards, white, lined or unlined, for Latin vocabulary flash cards.
(Turn in to the Latin teacher the first day of school.)

Special Notes:
--Please label all items with your child’s name or initials.
--Students may be asked to replace consumable items during the school year.
--Extra materials may be required throughout the year for special projects and needs in different
classes.
--If you need a new binder for your history cards, these can be purchased from the school office
or Office Max.
